IRC Chat and Pox's woe.

Well not been able to get onto IRC chat for well over a year now, and it is finally getting to me that I should do something about it.

If i try to get onto the forums IRC chat it a pop-up saying "The Java plug in was blocked because it is out of date." with two options "Update plug in" or "Run this time."

used to be able to click the "run this time" option and all was good, but one too java updates later and this no-longer works. Update plug in seems to do nothing.

In the hazy days of chat I seem to remember people using something called pidgeon? as an alternative way to get onto chat - so since Pox is a computer troglodyte can anyone help him spread the glorious message of Nurgle once more onto the forums IRC?

There's pidgeon, there's also mIRC. The information you need to know:

Server is irc.ircstorm.ne
Channel is #40kforums

anyone on chat now? as not sure this is working fully yet (seems IRC is no liking the username Pox for some reason - maybe it thinks i'm a virus bot again!)

It's free on a Windows box... should be on Apple too.

ok think have made it to the room, as can see people - but either have hit chat at dead time or it is still causing me some problems as nickserve says my username is not registered...hmm guess fiddle with that side a bit.
