    ebay masicism

    Anybody else watch ebay auctions even though you know you aren't going to buy anything?

    What torture!!! But I must enjoy it because I keep doing it...

    More than the usual broke thanks to the holiday season's shoppiness. So that doesn't help...

    I just watched a BA painted LRC go for under $40 with shipping...

    I recently won a BA assault squad for $10, LRC complete for $44, and I got a SW and BA battleforce boxes together for $100

    I do. It comes and goes, there are weeks where i'm on ebay daily, followed by weeks where i don't visit ebay at all, usually after my flexible friend aka visa screems at me he had enough. (He or the misses)

    Indeed... though for me I think it's more like people watching at the mall.

    I am constantly surprised by just how much money some people are willing to spend on things... like 20% above retail PLUS FREIGHT for current, NIB models and units... blows my mind.

    Worse yet is when something is about to end that is so cheap as to be criminal.

    "I don't even play ________'s but that deal is too good to pass up!"

    or watching things go that I just can't afford to buy at that exact moment...

    Anybody looking to start BA or Tyranids could have done so for next to nothing this week... I don't know how many BA assault squads (5 to 7 marines, melta + PW or PF in each and every one) went for around $10 each this week...

    Watched a Bjorn dred go for $25

    Hive Guard and Tyrant Guard going for $5 each...
