Thinking about adding this to my army.

So, GW has this box set with 20 Bloodletters, 10 Daemonettes, 10 Horrors, and 5 Seekers in it for $105.

I can think of a gang of things to do with the $105 but this looks solid, it would take care of my horrors mostly. Letters too. one more box of Daemonettes would be nice. but the only thing is the Seekers, I was thinking about running those 5 with a Herald of Slaanesh on a mount but I'm not sure how effective this unit would be.

but for the price, im looking at the seekers like they are free anyway.

What do you guys think?

Sounds good. But if you can find one, i bought the Chaos Daemons Spearhead, from like 2007 for about $270. It has everything you would need and then some. It came with 10 Daemonettes of Slaanesh, 1 Fiend of Slaanesh, The Masque, 10 Bloodletters of Khorne, 5 Flesh Hounds of Khorne, 1 Bloodcrusher of Khorne, 1 Skulltaker, 1 Karanak, 1 Beast of Nurgle, Epidemius, and 1 Soul Grinder of of Chaos. The point total came to about 1,800 with just that, and I also got a squad of pink horrors, screamers, and flamers. When i need the extra force i am planning on getting the same box set GW has. Even though you aren't starting an army, the Spearhead is fantastic.

Ya, im straight on that, with the 230 I found that set for I can do much better actually. I would never use the Beast of Nurgle, so as Pyro has said it would be a paper weight.

Epidimius would find minimal use as well actually, and come to think of it, I don't really like the soulgrinder and would only use the Masque sparingly. That is 4 units and a lot of money in that box, and really now that I think of it, I can do without Karanak and the hounds.

But ya, I decided against even the box in my OP, for 105 I going pick up my Bearers, Thirster, and then I will decide later after I see how much money is left over, I thinking I will have enough to maybe get my Heralds of Zteentch going on chariots, which will be nice.
