That looks like an Iron Warriors army
But you have 3 Rhinos, so... how about:
3x10 Chaos marines, give them champions with power fist, and 2 melta guns (or power weapon, plasma pistol, and 2 plasma guns). Load them up into the 3 Rhinos you got.
5 Terminators in Land Raider as your Elites would be nice too.

yes i agree.
funny i was looking at iron warriors but i see that if they go into close combat they look like that's not there cup of tee. but i did like there hell fire and brimstone look.
also i couldnt find the warshmith stats and cost in my codex which means that i have a old codex.
oh and i do now have 10 terminators

Oh I'm sure you have the latest codex. The Warsmith is actually from the previous Codex (back then, the 9 Chaos Legions have their own special rules, and the Iron Warriors could choose a Warsmith for HQ. They were also the only one allowed to field Vindicators and more than one squad of Obliterators). We're hoping that GW will release a supplement to the Codex Chaos detailing the different Chaos Legions next year.
Yes that's right. I play against Iron Warriors mostly, and they often take up firing positions and just shoot. There will be a few Terminators, Bikers and a Dreadnought to stop me from assaulting their shooters.
But your Iron Warriors can be the ones that get close and personal
(the current codex allows each Chaos Marine to have a bolter, a bolt pistol and a close combat weapon. You get to choose which ones to use each turn)

to use the older codex, you'd need to check with your opponent to see if they'd allow it. (some player's don't mind, but other's usually do as well as in tournaments you'll have to use the current edition)
Army (W/L/D)
CSM 0/0/0 (70% painted)
Tyranid 0/0/0 (updating)
Eldar 1/1/5

I go for two chaos space marine squads, each 10 strong with two meltaguns in a rhino, led by an aspiring champion with a combi-melta and power sword personally. If you're using vindicators, a land raider and terminators (if you can fit them in whatever points value you're running to), I'd go for:
Terminators in a Land Raider
2x CSM squads in rhinos
2x Vindicators
as your basis. Basically, what you have is a speartip formation with a kill unit in the Land Raider (chops/blows the hell out of the heart of your opponents army, "cuts off the head" so to speak), flanked by vindicators to kill things that might hurt the raider's contents and backed up by marines squads to hold objectives and provide fire support. Obliterators would help keep fire off the vindicators and dropping a prince in there would mess things up nicely if you'd like. This is pretty much the set-up that I've been using. My personal preference for my kill unit is a squad of khorne berzerkers led by a lord, but if you're going for Iron Warriors then terminators would fit better, and I use defilers instead of vindicators but that's by the by. You've got a good core there, a couple of troops units on top of it and you're ready to go. Best of luck!

Plague Marines are the best Troops that a Chaos Space Marine can buy. T5, Feel no pain means that when they get to their location they stay there. Also they can take 2 Plasma Guns (with Feel No Pain the Gets Hot! doesnt hurt so much) so if you do decide to Rhino them up, you can fire up to 4 Plasma Shots up to 12"
They can be expensive though, the above squad ( assuming 7 models, but why would you go any other number
) is nearly a quarter of a 1000 points in one unit.
