Alright, just picked up a Bike Squad from GW. How do I assemble one with meltagun? There's only one meltagun and two "weapon slots". Do I give him a melta and a bolter then?

There should be two bits that look like fog lights. You put one melta and one of those foglights.
While you're at it, you might want to get another box of bikes. So you can make two squads, one with two meltas to kill tanks, one with two plasmas to kill devastators hiding at the back

Okay, I wondered that that little thing was, hehe. Thanks man.

And I did pick up two boxes = one squad Also picked up some Marines and Sonic Weapons.

Edit: Sorry, misread that. Three bikers a squad you mean? Yeah, maybe that'll be better for a start. It'll even be cheaper as well when I think of it, cause then I only have to get the single biker boxes to build on the squads. My mind is not always the fastest, hehe.

    That's ok
Ah yes, a squad of 6 is better. 6 is the Slaanesh lucky number
Good luck with your new army!!

My regular opponent uses 6 bikes with 2 plasmas because I don't have any tanks :p

Thanks for everything, man. Thanks, everyone. If I have further questions I just send you a PM or something instead of soiling the forum And yes, the marines I've painted I've given "VI" on their shoulder pads.

There only seems to be one of those lights in every box though, but that can be done with a bolter and some green stuff I suppose

Only one light per box? Hmmm, that's strange, there should be two in each box I think, but it shouldn't be a problem for you since you're only making one squad. Just use the light from both boxes.
The other 4 bikes use twin linked bolters.

Glad I could help someone =D I think the forum is better so everyone can help you.

If you need more sonic weapons: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/ca...Id=prod1400035

Not cheap and still metal, but more cost-effective than buying enormous amounts of emperor's children box sets.

Yep, those are the ones I got. Along with a box of Noise Marines cause I kind of wanted that champion, hehe. They are pretty pricey, but like you said, it's better than buying five boxes of Noise Marines to equip one little squad. And the Sonic Weapons in the Noise Marines box are metal as well, so it's not like we have a choice.

As for the colour scheme, I'm gonna paint them in an Angels of Ecstacy way, and just call them something else.

Just another question about assembling the bikers. Do I give the champion bolters?

Yes, twin linked bolters for the champion's bike.

The codex is confusing because if you read the description, the special weapons replace their bolt pistols. Which means the twin bolters on the bikes stay on, and the bike riders will use one hand to carry the special weapons. Just like the loyal Space Marines. But in the bike box, you get plasma and melta for the bike, not the rider.

Alright, I figured, but you can never be sure enough. The picture on GWs website only shows three "vanilla" bikers, so it's not insanely helpful, hehe.

I'll try to put together an army list soon. I don't know if I'll post it here or if I'll make a new thread, but keep an eye out
