Hi, I'm pretty new to this but how do Painboyz work? I mean if I wanted to make a group of Nobz and put them on Warbikes does a Painboy just replace one of the Nobz? Can he ride a warbike? I was thinking of doing a unit of biker nobz with a biker warboss and thought a painboy in the mix would make that unit pretty bad ass.

no reason you can't, just need to convert one so that you have a pain boy riding a bike

If you use a painboy do you just replace the nob with the painboy? Can the painboy get the same wargear, like the warbike?

One Nob may be a Painboy

The entire mob may be upgraded to: Nob Bikers

Orks FAQ v1.1:

Q: Can a Painboy in a unit of Nobs take the ‘eavy armour, bosspole, Waaagh! Banner or ammo runt upgrades? (p98)
A: No.

So the Painboy can be given a bike and/or stikkbombz, since he's part of the whole mob, but cannot take any other upgrades.

Just confirming since you didn't list it as an upgrade in your post before... I want to make sure I haven't been doing THAT wrong TOO!
