well honestly, using them correctly is a process best learned by playing them. Experience is the best teacher, what I would say, is just make the few changes to the list and play it from there

-Personnaly i think the bike squad is a mistake, I prefer to see a squad of nobz(6-8 and all differently geared for wound allocation + some naked nobz) into a battlewagon with a deffrolla (dedicated transport) with a BigMek. The radius of the kustom field become way bigger , and usually the opponnent need a lot of fire power to bring it down. Its open topped so you can charge even after its moved

-My troop are same same as you(except +3 big shoota in the shoota squad). Even if i always took the bosspole i never had to use it. Its only 5 points so better take it, but i dont think its that useful for 30 boyz. The most I ve lost so far in 1 unit was 18. (VS grey knight)

-The grot rigger are useless , They are in squad so as soon they become immobilized they are remove from play. They don t have the chance to repair it. (I might be wrong , but i m pretty sure i m right). Me i m using now 2 squad of 3 kans , + another deffdread. I think Rocket launcher make the killa kans too expensive. I use one squad of 3 Big shoota , and one with 2 grotzooka + random weapon . (wish i had 3 grotzooka).

I m not even sure if i m at 2000 pts , last game i ve played my army wasn complete so i was using some gretchin, small squad of naked nobz + 2 squad of 4 deffkopta(useless), I hate the fact that they reprensented 400 pts in my army , lose one model , fail leadership roll and they go off the board.

That 500 pts got replace by the battlewagon , 3 killa kan , and a deffdread. And i m sure i m gonna get some point left to add a few thing.

The deffkopta isn t THAT bad. But i think they need to be held in reserve ALWAYS , and squad of 1 is better. Really wish the mobz rules was by wound and not by model
