The Shaper
Hey fellas, I just picked up some Tau during Christmas, and I'm debating whether or not to convert one my of my 12 Kroot to a Shaper.
I like all his stats, and the one extra leadership is never a terrible idea.
If I do take him, is the extra 1 Pt per model Armor save worth it? Since they are suppose to be cover campers anyway, this really only becomes somewhat useful in CC.
Things to keep in mind. 1000 pt list. These are the only kroot in my army so far.

TBH nearly every basic gun in the game has at least AP6 so its pretty worthless. as for the shapper...ATM he's crap...but im betting he'll get something good in the next dex.

Pass on the armour... As for the Shaper himself he is ok IF you have the points to burn imo.

Hrm.. i guess i'll just have to try him out and see how i feel about it. But i shall pass on saves.
