    Buddy of mine runs a very similar list minus the exarch and wraithlord (swaps in two fire prisms or jetbikes usually). It's always been effective against the armies in my group (Marines, Blood Angels, Guard, Orks and Necrons).

    Bladestorm is always worth its points, and if you can squeeze the points on the other squad, you can easily take out a full squad of boyz in a single turn of shooting. That said, defend is also great to have. It can really nerf low-attack units like regular Space Marines, and can help take the hurt out of units with more attacks (like orks).

    Not sure about the FD exarch though, usually seems 5 plain fire dragons can destroy pretty much everything without any difficulty.

    For a small army points value, I think you have too many points in HQ

    Choose between 1, I prefer the Farseer, drop the spear for a regular wychblade. I would drop the Autarch. The points limit is too small to justify 2 HQ's

    Elites

    Drop the exarch, which also drops tank hunter. Add an extra fragon and mount them in a Wave Serpent with twin scatter lasers and stones

    Troops
    10 dire avengers- exarch w/ shimmershield and power weapon, bladestorm ~ wave serpent w/ bright lance {297}
    10 dire avengers- exarch w/ diresword and defend ~ wave serpent w/ scatter lasers {272}

    For the bladestrom squad, drop shimmershield nad PW for the avenger shuricats. give the shimmershield and PW to the second squad, add stones to the wave serpents. I would add a support squad of rangers, pathfidners if you can afford them

    Heavy support
    Wraithlord w/ Wraithsword and bright lance {140)
    Falcon w/ missile launcher and holo-field {170}

    I would suggest against the ML and just add a scatter laser instead. Instead of the rangers, you could add a squad of dire avengers, min size, no exarch, to ride in the Falcon to make it scoring, then put the Farseer in there to guide the Falcon at all times, this way you twin link all it's weapons.

    I would also suggest droppign the WL for a squad of war walkers, you get more fire power out of them

    Good judgement comes from experience, alot of that comes from bad judgement

    Are the war walkers getting squadded? If so then you want to kit em the same, if not, seems to work well enough. Scatter lasers are brilliant for their points, and 8 shots on a mobile platform is nothing to scoff at, but if you feel you're lacking enough high strength weaponry, I can see the justification for bringing the lances. My only worry is that with the fragons the lances become a bit redundant against high av vehicles (you're sending the fragons against the land raider, not the war walker...)

    On warwalkers I always field them with dual scatterlasers, especially when facing orks, they are just plain amazing. Would also swap any BL for EML, more versatile and cheaper. Finally I know the argument for basic fragons (deploy melt die) but I have always found exarch with DBF and crackshot to work wonders for me, any str5 weapon that ignores cover and rr failed wounds is a'ok in my book
