    Here are the latest updates.

    Scarabs

I really think I am going to redo the rest of my scarabs when I find the time.

    Overlord

I ended up nicknaming him the Spaceman. I gave him a crown so that he would better stand out when compared to my lords. Which lords you say, well just look below.

    Lords

I made these from a box of lychguard and as to not confuse anyone I use gray stuff to sculpt but use liquid green stuff to smooth it out. I really tried to make them less elaborate than the overlord but oh well.

    Lord/Nickname The Pirate

My favorite part of this model is the large rip in the back of his coat that open a negative space that allows you to see strait through the model. The necron head in his hand is there to represent a res orb. You might recall my old necron lord use a cybernetic brain as a res orb, however it was kind of oversized and I didn't feel like sculpting new ones and since the box come with 5 extra heads.

    Lord/Nickname The Watchmaker

It might be hard to tell from the image but he has a pocket watch in his hand, 3 watches on each wrist, and a clock in the center of his hat, hence the nick name the watchmaker. I figured his pocket watch would act as a tesseract labyrinth. (Sidenote: I originally called him the time lord but I couldn't shake the Doctor Who reference)

    Lord/Nickname The Queen

This is actually something I have been wanting to do with necrons for a while, and granted we don't even know if their where female necrontyr or female lords but who's to say, and if you still have problems you can just say he is crazy and thinks he is female. Anyway the challenge with this one is that I wanted to make her female without using tropes like just add boobs and long hair. Granted I did add a dress but you got to give me something.

    Lord/Nickname The Toolbelt

In his right hand is my version of the gauntlet of fire and on his left hip a strange pistol device to represent a tachyon arrow.

Queen is fantastic, can't wait to see her painted so that all the work you put into the dress and conversion are actually visible

Man, this just gets better and better!

This week I am good-naturedly shaking my fist at: Baragash. For being unreasonably reasonable.
    Sex, drugs and pointy ears.
Cheaphammer 40p: 2000 points of Marines as cheap as possible.
It'll be alright on the Knight - a slow refreshing of my original Grey Knight army.
Cordova: In my head you're eight foot tall, always carry an officer's sabre, and speak like Theoden at the battle of Pelennor Fields.

Grey Knights don't go to heaven: they go to hell and regroup.

Hey all I have some updates.

    Repainted Warriors

My earlier necrons had color all over the place. Since the codex update, I have switch to a more unified color scheme. But lets be honest, you want to see the lords.

    Lords

    The Pirate

I maintain that my favorite part of this model is the hole in the coat that allows you to see through him.

    The Watchmaker

This guy is my clear favorite, and despite the detail, he came together the easiest.

    The Queen

I have had the idea for a female necron bouncing in my head since before the new codex. I am kink of glad I waited for my skills to improve. I also wanted a suitable stand-in for Nemesor Zahndrekh.

The Carpenter (formerly the the tool belt) (Edit: name is now The Blacksmith)

This models has kind of grown on me which is kind of interesting as he was really more of an afterthought. You see the other 3 were ideas that have been cycling in my head for the longest time. I really just wanted a model that had a gauntlet of fire that I could also us as the stormlord. There was really no prior thought when building him.

Carpenter isn't quite the right name, methinks (tinkerer, smithy...etc)...though the discord between the wood based occupation and the metal/tech based guy....might be ok

I presume these fellows also glow in the dark? Where are those pics? Because....that would truly be fantastic

You are right about the name it just doesn't fit. I really wanted something that was in line with the names that the others have. I went through many different names The Welder, The Tool Man, The Tech-head, and The Builder, but none of them fit. However, Architech has given me an idea... what do you think of the name The Blacksmith?

Artificer also works. The Grand Artificer. Sounds great.

Could also give it a more menacing name like Artisan of Pain.

Artificer, The Smith, Smithy, The Blacksmith and The Welder are all good

Artificer and Smithy resound a bit more to me

I demand that you stop being this awesome.
