Tim Tebow and the Nfl: An American Football thread, brought to you by Kilroy

Just curious to see if there are any NFL viewers out there, what teams they follow and their take on the current season or something.

Also my predictions for the next round of playoffs

    Baltimore>Houston
    New England>Tebows
    San Francisco<New Orleans
    Green Bay<Giants

I'm gonna go ahead and say that I'm not being biased...but in interest of fairness I must declare that I attended UF through Tebow's college career. I've met the guy...he's really nice. That being said...I think he's proven that he can play in the NFL. Sure there were cock ups...but no team is perfect, and certainly no player is. He has had only two games where I really felt he was playing poorly...and even those weren't necessarily his fault, but rather a culmination of events. His team plays hard...they play harder with him there...they want to support him. Don't buy that? Go back and watch clips from his second game ever in the NFL. He gets driven to the ground after a run. Can't get up because the defenders are on him...his entire line comes up, grabs the defenders and tosses them away to help him up. I've literally never seen that level of personal protection. Give him some time, give him some freedom, and watch what happens.

If they show up next game, I say Denver puts up a damn good show. GB methinks goes all the way to the big game...not sure they win. Saints could do it, but I'm not certain.

I like Tebow, and I'm rooting for him for sure, especially, as a Bills fan, I'd like to see the patriots lose. Despite that, I doubt that the Broncos can keep up with the patriots offense. Broncos can beat defenses, that was showed when they played the Steelers, but I doubt they can beat New England offensive capabilities.

As far as Green Bay is concerned, I wouldn't count New York out yet, Just ask the 2008 Patriots.

But as we learn every year...the previous years don't matter. At least I hope a Bills fan would understand

Yes and Rams. I'm still face palming over Jeff Fisher being a slow ass jerk about picking a team already. I'm also still pissed that we've had another god awful season and have to go through *another* GM/Head Coach search.

I'm watching Tebow, I find him interesting. I think he has the potential to be one of the true greats to play the game, but he also has the potential to suck. It's really going to depend on how well he adjusts to the passing game.

Edit: Would be laughing for days if Denver beats New England. Days. Also, really don't expect Green Bay to lose in the playoffs this year, but if any team is going to beat them in the playoffs it's the Giants. I expect Baltimore beats Houston, but I'd love to see either team go all the way.

Love it. Not a Giants fan, but the Patriots can burn in hell.
