Why Doesn't Chaos Hate Omnicidal Armies?

So I was looking on the allies matrix on the Games Workshop website and I found it strange that Chaos is likely to ally with the Necrons, Orks, and Tyranids. It would seem to me that the Necrons and Tyranids are very unproductive to chaos's ends. For example, if the Tyranids succeed in eating the galaxy, or the Necrons succeed in sterilizing the galaxy, the Chaos gods will all die off.

The Orks, while better for Chaos than the other armies since they still leave sentient beings in the galaxy for Chaos to feed off of, still only seem to be relevant to Khorne. They don't engage in sexual reproduction, nor have I read any fluff to indicate that they abuse drugs or practice hedonistic rituals, so Slaanesh is out. Orks are extremely resistant to disease, so Nurgle is at a distinct disadvantage. Orks are moderately ambitions, but with their extremely limited intellect and how easily they form a hierarchy simply by size seems to lend itself against Tzeench being as relevant as he could be.

Why then, is Chaos likely to ally with these factions? Wouldn't a Necron or Tyranid victory be worse for Chaos in the long run than an Imperium victory? After all, if the Imperium wins, Chaos can always try to corrupt the planet again in the future, but if the Necrons or Tyranids win, the planet is lost to Chaos for good.

I could see slasnesh being interested in orks since it is sensations not just sexual. The speedfreaks are a perfect example.Nurgle could also be interested since orks are a fungus.Who knows maybe nurgle is fatehr of them as well.Tzeentch would definately be interested in the weird boys and possibly the mekboys and painboys. They have to get their powers somewhere and who knows could be a certain chaos god having fun.Khorne ofcourse is a given.

My very mild knowledge of each race in the universe I'm by NO means whatsoever qualified to state anything in the universe as anything more than a very basic assumption, so please take what I say with a pinch of salt.

Dark Eldar - I read the matrix and notice you didn't include these... but probably for obvious reason. They could potentially be worth something to each god as far as I know.

Tyranids - Whilst they are controlled by an external mind, are they definitely not sentiment beings? I'm not 100% on saying this, but with tyranids being biological creatures, I'd assume they are able to percieve the world. Or even the corruption of the hive mind itself could be useful to chaos. One being corrupt and they have an entire hive at their control with such a huge potential in growth ability.

Orks - A bit of me wants to say that it may have something to do with Gork and Mork. They also have gods that reside in the warp, and it sounds like Gork and Khorne would get along quite nicely if they weren't dying for a fight. Just an idea. Maybe if the Ghazkull story is true, and he can hear gork and mork, it means that orks could potentially hear the chaos gods themselves and carry out their orders. They may not be interested ind rugs or anything, but if they were suddenly told to do so on a drug such as steroids for example, who knows what would happen? Also, with them being fungal beings, there may be the possibility for Nurgle to "grow" them into super-creatures? I'm at a loss with Slaanesh or tzeentch, but the whole warp idea does make me suspect it could relate to gork and mork.... or at least maybe the fighting potential of teh orkz whilst they remain sentinent creatures.

Necrons - This one really does confuse me. I read a story somewhere that Necrons and Blood angles (I think BA...) allied once in order to fend off a tyranid invasion of a tomb world, as the BAwere already there invading. After which, the BA wouldn't turn on anyone they allied with, and the Necrons jsut told them to leave. Maybe they are sentinent? I havn't seen a great deal of teh new codex fluff, but I have heard they they preserve some of their origional mids, at least the lords do. The best I can say for Necrons, is maybe they're just not considered as big a deal. If they get out of hand and start ripping the galaxy over, the Chaos are prepared or soemthing.

Again, this is just my perception with a limited amount of fluff away in my head But maybe it could provoke questions from the more experienced members of the community.

The enemy of my enemy is the one I kill last. Chaos doesn't like anyone, not even themselves. However, they will work with the alien races you mentioned to try and bring down the Imperium, the biggest hurdle to their supremacy. Tyranids aren't present in the numbers neccesary to strip clean the galaxy yet, the Necrons are still awakening, and the Orks are too disorganized to be a serious threat to any long term plans. The Imperium, however, maintains armed forces to barricade the Eye of Terror, has dedicated Chaos-hunting forces, and removes prime souls for devouring by either training psykers to protect themselves or sacrificing them to the Emperor.

If Chaos can topple the Imperium there will be trillions upon trillions of unprotected humans ripe for harvesting, plus a lot of them would look for protection. Even a sector offers billions of souls and slaves. That's why Chaos will ally with other races. It might help the other race a little bit, but it helps Chaos more.

Dr. Manfredel is wrong. That kind of thinking is never justified.

Also for the same reason that in the fluff Chaos marines act more crazy in close combat, they are unstable.
