Best Leman Russ hull mounted weapon?
Hey,
Just curious, but what do you think that is the best hull weapon for a Leman Russ Main Battle Tank.
The heavy bolter, flamer or the lascannon?

Depends.
Generally, I favour the "keep it cheap" mentality, so the Heavy Bolter is by and large the preferred option (even though mine have Lascannons, but meh). For the Vanquisher, I'd go Lascannon for double tank killing chances. Everything else - heavy bolter.

Cheaphammer 40p: 2000 points of Marines as cheap as possible.
It'll be alright on the Knight - a slow refreshing of my original Grey Knight army.

I highly suggest the heavy bolter. What most people tend to forget, is that the LRBT is an anti infantry vehicle, first and foremost. Adding heavy bolters only makes more sense. If you want anti armor, there are far better options, like vendettas, melta vets etc.
I have a freind who plays with a squad of 2 LRBT's with 3 HB's each. That's 18 HB shots along with 2 battlecannons shots. Tell me what regular infantry survives that!

ive always done the lascannon for that one shot that may knock vehicles, those always seems to be my worse things to face.

big fan of the heavy bolter myself, though thematically i often field a lot of heavy flamers (especially on chimeras which are expected to get close) might try some russes with HF just as an interesting twist might deter some scarabs.

HBs ftw.
Although, if I have the points I'll put a Lascannon on a Demolisher so it can do double-duty.
Listen up! What we need is this! Yes, calcium! If we have enough calcium, we can do anything! Trouble with tests? Fighting with your parents? Some girl you like? Odiferous nethers? If you have enough calcium, all of these can be solved!

On the demolisher, yes the lascannon makes sense, because the demolisher is as good at taking out armor, as it is infantry, I mean S10, with 2D6 pen take the highest... Why wouldn't you fire that at a vehicle...

If there was a unit of Terminators closer to you?

Though for that, the Executioner does the dirty better.
