EMP Grenades
Okay, so Like i've said in other threads. New to the game, learning is going very nice but i've been reading over and doing trial and error for gear. Looking at emp grenades they seem like they can be very useful. Now heres the question.
How do they work? 0.0
It says they hit like melta bombs and i read the rule book entry on grenades and hitting. so assuming i understand that a say tank that hasn't moved doesnt need a hit roll and one that moved at combat speed takes 4+ and a 6 for the cruising speed. in an assault do i only have to hit by the chart they gave in the rule book and if yes, say i hit a stationary land raider with an emp grenade if it is like a melta bomb does that mean i get 8 str +2d6 for pen roll? or do i use the 4 or 5 glancing and 6 pen like in the emp grenade entry? Clearing this up will help alot. (Was in a situation where fire warriors had to fight a storm raven in a 500p game......)
