S&P doesn't take effect in the shooting phase?

Good judgement comes from experience, alot of that comes from bad judgement

Also, if Ghazghkull is alone and not attached to any other squad, he rolls 3d6 for the Slow and Purposeful move. Independent Characters have the Move Through Cover rule, but lose it when they join a squad that does not.

Nope, that's right... except in CC where he can be targeted by anyone in base contact...

It's the trade off for giving him some "body guards"

Of course, you could stick him in a mob of Kommandos. Since they also have the Move Through Cover special rule, the whole unit would roll 3d6 an pick the highest for movement.

No, they loose that since he does not have it...

But... he does get to come in from Reserve with them on any table edge if Snikky is along...

Just imagine how much fun it is to call Gazzy's Waaagh! whilst entering play from your opponents table edge (or wherever his tasty, squishy backfield unit has been hiding)

Thats the old Snikky/Ghazzy trick - extremely unpopular in many places. You will have people call such diverse things as: cheeze!, cheating!! or even their mom ... but when it all boils down and the sauce starts drippin ... its all fair and square. Ghazzy and Snikky together is quite broken to be honest, and if the stars are right - very very nasty. Go have fun with that setup.

    Cheers

Usually the people calling foul are the same ones running Long Fang spam.

Yeah, where I play, if there isn't 14" between your board edge and your rear most unit by turn 2, you've doing it wrong.

Well you have to remember, often there is terrain, so the regular 6" movement, will not always be 6". 14" is most often enough, since the WAAAAG! movement is random as well, unless someone is running Ghaz.

Very true. And well know how those dice gods love the "Run" roll.
