Nice freehands!
I dunno about the flames, they make the rhinos look more like they belong to the Legion of the Damned, but they certainly are eyecatchers.

I can understand that.
I do my best to make them as Templary as I can with the added flames. If you look at page 70 of White Dwarf 310 Mark Gibbson (lead concept artist for the 2005 BT release) says about the Black Templar imagery "It's chains and flames"
So I kind of ran with it to add a little flare to my Black Templars of the Flammis Purgata crusade (Purifying Flame)
Hope that helps make more sense of why they are painted this way.
Its all good they are painted the way I wanted them to look
it matches this very well

The white is the sky, then there's no problem. Besides, Templars are all about the black and white.

Loving those Rhinos, good to see you've not lost your touch. Can't wait to see more!
This week I am good-naturedly shaking my fist at: Baragash. For being unreasonably reasonable.
Sex, drugs and pointy ears.
Cheaphammer 40p: 2000 points of Marines as cheap as possible.
It'll be alright on the Knight - a slow refreshing of my original Grey Knight army.
Cordova: In my head you're eight foot tall, always carry an officer's sabre, and speak like Theoden at the battle of Pelennor Fields.
Grey Knights don't go to heaven: they go to hell and regroup.

Warren, great to see you back! Very nice Rhinos. I love seeing people go the extra mile and doing freehand on models.

Dr. Manfredel is wrong. That kind of thinking is never justified.
