    Greenhorn(ish)

Hi all, Just thought Id put it out there to say Hi to all, and also some initial thoughts and confessions. Older guy(47) living in the West Country of England, been intrested in Warhammer since around 1992 when I bought my first White Dwarf, In truth mainly played Fantasy with High Elves & Greenskins, untill i read the boxtree novels, Space Marine, the Inquisition trilogy, and Deathwing. These were all pre black library days and first peeked my interest in 40K. I still persisted with fantasy and then got into "Man O War" which as far as I can tell was a pre-curser to Dreadfleet, (still have some nicely Painted MOW minis I think) In fairness I was mainly interested in the painting aspect of the hobby and consider myself of a reasonably highish standard. (or did untill I saw some of the high standard models on sites like this)Then around 1999 I moved house, the kids were getting older and needing more attention, so I set aside my paintbrush, and other than collect novels from the rather excellant Black Library, and the occaisional White Dwarf, I set aside my interest in all things Warhammer. So moving on, about 6 months ago I decided to resurect my painting hobby and have been loosely painting a Chaos Marine 40K force since, I must confess to being a complete and utter greenhorn in the 40K playing aspect (being more of a painter than a player) But i think I can make up in enthusiasm what I lack in experiance lol. I am currently painting a 12 man World Eater berserker squad, and in doing some interweb research come across a site clled throneofskulls.com which in turn prompted me to look for a more general 40K one and I found yours, which must be pretty good as it inspired me enough to sign up and confess all lol (well after a junkmail glitch on my inbox, it did). One of the first minis I painted after my return to the hobby was Kharn, as I always really liked it from when it was first released, and I must confess to being currently torn between Khorne and Nurgle as my "favourite deity" having previous to the berserker squad, completed the finecast Nurgle Demon Prince, which I was quite pleased with. might post some pix of my models if anybody is interested. Anyways, enough rambling, all the best chat soon MD.

    Hello and welcome!

Brizzle huh? Good gamestore up there.

This week I am good-naturedly shaking my fist at: Baragash. For being unreasonably reasonable.
    Sex, drugs and pointy ears.
Cheaphammer 40p: 2000 points of Marines as cheap as possible.
It'll be alright on the Knight - a slow refreshing of my original Grey Knight army.

Could be the mysterious 5th Chaos Power Tzeenesh responsible for the "missing Two Legions?? & seeing as this is a family orientated forum I shall decline to comment on your last observation lol.
