Howdy
Just signing up, extremely casual Necron player, and with the new Codex I figured I'd look around to see whats worth investing in. I have plenty of Warriors and Swarms (didn't see rules for them but people are still talking about them so not sure what the deal is) a Monolith, Destroyer Lord, 3 Destroyers, a standard Lord and a Lord w/ a Res.
From the Codex I gather that Immortals are now king, so I need to pick up some of them but not sure how many. DMs look cool but are too new, and seem like they get killed off if they DS on your opponents turn. While I have the Monolith, I never have played it, so I don't know anything about vehicles, and if its still worth it, and now that there is finally named lords I want to pick them up, I'm guessing Trazyn, but don't know if he's going to be worth it. Any other suggestions would be cool.

Welcome aboard!
You'll find two forums here of particular interest... first the Necron forum is where you will get tons of advice and answers to questions like these.
Also, if you want pointers on a particular list or what to add... the Army Lists forum will be a big help.
Me, I don't know Necrons so I'm of little or no use...

dont need named lords , a necron overlord has plenty of options and you can tailor him to your own specs
monoliths worth it and 30 points cheaper than it was

Welcome to the forums. Only experience I have with them is against Smurfy, another member here, who beat up my Marines with them. He used Trazyn pretty effectively there.
