I know when I play though I don't typically like to move everything forward a straight 6" in the first turn. Maybe just a personal playstyle however.
W/L/D (1v1/)
Eldar- 22/2/2
Necrons- 4/2/0
The best of men can swallow victory with the same taste as defeat.

Personally I love big units of Warriors. A full 20-man unit with a couple of Crypteks and a Lord with Res Orb is a beast to shift off an objective, although sweeping advances will always be an issue. Not sure what the best way to deal with assaults is. If the 6e rumours prove to be true then you will definitely want to keep a nasty assault unit behind your warriors as they will be I10 when they charge into an assault

Overlord w/ phaeron + mindshackle & warscythe for close combat, and phase shifter to swat away those pesky heavy shots
lord w/ res orb, mindshackle & warscythe and then a lord of storm w/ lightning field I find is an insanely difficult unit to stop. the d6 str 8 ap 5 lightning on a charge wears them down (can instant kill paladins if they are unlucky) , then 2x mindshackles are a beast of their own, then allocate wounds to the warriors then swing back with 2 warscythes and you will win quite a few combats... unless its against hordes... those are basically the biggest issue.
