    Assault Marine/Death Company

Which box has more value for money?

Standard assault marines box or Death Company box?

    ie. more parts/weapons etc?

yeah I just got a box set of DC earlier in the week and it was murdered out with SOOO many bits and pieces. tons of left over BA shoulder pads for other units. So my vote is the DC box set every time. Unless of course you are building for something OTHER then BA lol.

depends on how dedicated you are to scraping off icons...

Assault marines have a bunch of pistols, chainswords, a power axe, a power sword I think, a powerfist and a combat shield....as well as I think a flamer and plasma pistol.

DC...has just cooler bits...that happen to be BA aesthetically

i picked up a grey knights box this week, comes with 9 storm bolters, combat shield, 2 heavy bolters, heavy flamer, like 12-14 power weapons(including 3 halberds and a thunder hammer) a narthicum (or whatever that apoc weapon/staff is called), lots of unique accessory bits plus some less common purity seals that look a lot different that others, lots of extra body parts and shoulder pads. on top of that the grey knight figures look bitchin, especially if you want them for cc figures. i converted them for a vanilla command squad, definetly makes them stand out and gave me the options i wanted too.
