Assault on Black Reach, ebay, occasionally Charity Shops. Sometimes you'll get them at shops which sell a lot of used things like video games and whatnot.

This week I am good-naturedly shaking my fist at: Baragash. For being unreasonably reasonable.
    Sex, drugs and pointy ears.
Cheaphammer 40p: 2000 points of Marines as cheap as possible.
It'll be alright on the Knight - a slow refreshing of my original Grey Knight army.
Cordova: In my head you're eight foot tall, always carry an officer's sabre, and speak like Theoden at the battle of Pelennor Fields.

Grey Knights don't go to heaven: they go to hell and regroup.

craigslist is good place to look, there are always people trying to get rid of the armies that they don't play anymore. You can get 2000pt armies for 1/3 of the retail cost in most cases.

I prefer to purchase marines second hand, they have more experience that way

all good advice. craigslist has tons of people listing units (depending on popularity in your area) but ebay can be pricey in comparison. there are to many people who feel their paint jobs make their heavily used models worth more than retail. i personally bought a assault on black reach box and found each army alone is worth the $100 you spend on it. i would recommend that, prime all the figures on the sprues and sell/trade all the units from the army you dont want while it's primed and still on the sprue. its really the best way to get more value out of a box thats already a good buy for beginners. i traded my orcs for a rhino, bikes, 10 unit squad of marines, dreadnought options, lots of useful bits and then some. or you could just slowley build 2 armies for the fun of it that way.
