Adeptus Knox Origins
The founding of this chapter is a story which is shrouded in mystery and myth. Many men have claimed to know the true origin of the Adeptus Knox but none but Knox know the truth.
The most credible rumour is that the Adeptus Knox are the result of the first experimentation with the Blood Angels Gene Seed. When genetically engineered alongside the Dark Angels gene seed, the Adeptus Knox were formed.
Blood thirsty and flesh craving, they were very nearly destroyed by the Inquisition. But an ancient Librarian stepped forward and proved the Knox could be controlled. Over generations of being under Psyker control the Knox hunger had been brought under control and they were proven sane. With a simple need of regular blood and flesh meals, they were positioned upon an orbital monastery in the Kalderis System.
Led by the mysterious Librarian Raven Solomon, the Adeptus Knox strive to smite the forces of Slaanesh and the heretical Emperor’s Children. Staying mainly in the Kalderis system the Knox are a generally forgotten chapter, even to the Inquisition records, their presence in the battle of Kalderis 3 is forgotten as they are only mentioned as “an unknown Space Marine chapter”. This has led to the Knox believing the Inquisition wishes their existence to remain unrecorded. They happily abide to this, relishing their freedom and independence.

The name is derived from the Latin word for night.
The chapter is run by a yet un named marine with Librarian Raven Solomon second in command.
As for the segmentum they are based in the Kalderis planet system a series of neutral and pirate/ rogue trader planets, frequently set upon by Slaanesh
