25th Anniversary Figure (anyone speak French please?)

Make of this what you will chaps:

Name:	321083_md-.jpg
Views:	113
Size:	161.2 KB
ID:	7128

Something to do with the 25th Anniversary of Rouge Trader (even I can make that much out), but alas my language skills derived from second-hand Latin are somewhat lacking.

    Also:

The Lord of the Rings - The Battle Game
5 New Supplements and a ton of figures

    Warhammer
Extension of the Civil War Series

    Warhammer 40,000
Celebrating 25 years of Warhammer 40,000
Can't. Wait. [/deadpan] But if there's more 25th Anniversary goodies around, then it could prove interesting.

This week I am good-naturedly shaking my fist at: Baragash. For being unreasonably reasonable.
    Sex, drugs and pointy ears.
Cheaphammer 40p: 2000 points of Marines as cheap as possible.
It'll be alright on the Knight - a slow refreshing of my original Grey Knight army.
Cordova: In my head you're eight foot tall, always carry an officer's sabre, and speak like Theoden at the battle of Pelennor Fields.

Grey Knights don't go to heaven: they go to hell and regroup.

    Translation:

    Birthday present

    limited quantities.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Rogue Trader's release, which forever changed the face of wargaming, we are going to immortalise in Citadel Finecast the very first star of Warhammer 40,000.

The symbolic cover illustration of Rogue Trader left no doubt; in the far future, there is only war.

In the center of the image, a Crimson Fists captain holding an Ork head.

Juan Diaz has sculpted a model based on this Space Marine captain, brandishing his sinister trophy with his power fist, a plasma pistol in the other hand.

The whole includes a scenic base with his proud Crimson Fists banner in the background.

You can also place the model on a normal base, so that your captain can lead a squad of Crimson Fists into the heart of battle.

Citadel finecast, 26 euros, on sale on February the 25th.
I'm hyped, can't wait for more goodies either!

Makes sense they'd do this as they did the same with Harry the Hammer for Fantasys 25th anniversary a few years back.

If that wasn't a pun, I will be sore disappointed, EB.

On topic it shares my opinion of the WD subscription special models - looks nice, but it wouldn't see any use with me. Are they implying/saying it's painted already or just sculpted to be a crimson fist?

Indeed. It was the bastard child of Rogue Trader, but alas nobody played it. Still, anniversary mini.

Gotta look purty, you know that Bara. Anyway, some rouge on a Beaky might look ... different.

    Correction! Imperial Fist stuff, yah!

Ill pick him up just for the banner, I think. That'd be great for my IF command squad.

Dr. Manfredel is wrong. That kind of thinking is never justified.

Lol. I suppose it being Finecast does make it easier to convert to something else.
