Devastator Marines?

is there such a thing in chaos as devastator marines? looking at an ebay listing and was just curious...

They're called Chaos Space Marine Havocs.

you'd be better off buying the space marine devastator box if your buying them new which is what i did just because you get 8 heavy weapons admittedly you cant use the plasma cannons and multi melta (travesty in my eyes) id guess with the release of the new dex in a few months time that should change. never understood why the chaos dreads have plasma cannons yet they dont exist as far as infantry are concerned.

Yup, they're all marines at the end of the day. Just make them look like chaos marines when you model/paint them maybe? Probably best to work out what heavy weapons you want to outfit them with and to ensure the devastator box set can accommodate that.

hmm...maybe i'll be clever and just replace their heads and packs with chaos bitz to make them look evil...and paint them with my evil chaos colors of course

Space marines are going over to chaos all the time , so it makes sense that some of the new converts would wear more SMish looking kit ( plus CSM would loot bodies )
Ive used CSM bits to chaos up reg marines before , try buying chaos backpacks or bits packages of ebay .
I dont particularly like CSM helmets (viking horn type ) either and will swap them when i can .

I love the CSM helmets! I paint all of the horns solid gold....and it still looks badass
