    Kayvaan Rapid Assault Force 2500 Points

    Kayvaan - 195

    3x Full Tactical Squad (hops in Rhinos) - 510

    3X Full Assault Squads with Power Fists (Starts in Redeemers) - 645

    Full Terminator Assault Squad (Infiltrating with Kayvaan) - 400

    3x Land Raider Reedeemers with Multi-Meltas - 750

    3x Dedicated Rhinos - Free

    Thoughts? The general idea is to push all my units down my oponants throat befor he can react. The Raiders will wiz forward, the assault squads will disembark, fleet and then assault. Giving me a 33.5" - 38.5" charge distance on the first turn. Kayvaan will then follow up infiltrating a massive block of TH&SS Terminator for the 2nd wave.

    seems like a nice tactic.
    and while the purpose is to run and thus utilize fleet-assaults as much as possible, I think you should still fit in some special weapons.

    curious, where did you get 33.5 and 38.5 inches? almost seems like you're adding the length of the landraider, which shouldn't be correct as it cannot start any closer to the enemy than a standing infantry model (for instance pitched battle, all models have to start at least 12inches from the table's middle line so the edge of an infantry base is 12" away same for the front of any vehicle hull)

    12" From the edge
    Move 12"
    Hop out 2.5" (remeber that only a tiny part of the base needs to stay within the 2" disembarkment)
    Fleet 1-6"
    Assault 6"

    So basically, based on if my opponant deployes 12" and i roll a 5-6 on a fleet i can be in assault if i go first. Im hoping to go 2nd so they can come forward a bit (hopefully by 6" because its a garenteed charge). If i end up going first i'll just wiz 12" but wait to disembark the next turn.

    this is the second list ive seen like this. im kind of new and still dont know alot of rules. Kayvaan is listed as jump infantry on my codex, i didnt think you could attach him to a squad of terminators? and why are your 3 rhinos free?
