I started playing 40k at a convention a long time ago. (Well it wasn't 40k, it was this brand new games called Gorka-Morka). After that, I purchased and ran with a Dark Angels army. Had a blast playing. Then when Necrons became more than flavor text, I got them as well. Made them my main force and absolutely played the hell out of them. After high school, my small 40k group went their own ways and my interest fizzled. I occasionally played at gaming shops but just sorta... stopped one day.

Well, here in Cincinnati an official 'Games Workshop' store just opened. I heard about it on Facebook, ran down there swooped up Black Reach and some paints and I'm eager to get back on this old horse.

The shortened version is, "I used to play this, now I'm older and I'm back. Let's do this."

. I have only been playing a relatively short time but I also got into it via the Black Reach set with my husband, who is really enjoying his space marines.
