Total n00b building WoC army need advice

Hi,

I'm a total noob but want to build a Warriors of Chaos army. I bought the big boxed battalion and assembled everything but while I was looking around for ideas regarding paint schemes I noticed that people gave the Marauders consistent weapons i.e. every Marauder has flails or axes.

When I assembled mine I just kind of went with a mix. Same with the armour too.

Have I made a mistake?

usually marauders have one type of weapons for the whole unit.

putting a mixture in is certainly not the end of the world though - you can either:

A) - just simply explain to your opponent what weapon the marauders are using at the start of the game.
B) - if not glued on well, could prize off and make all the same
c) - get some more marauders to make two units one with flails and one with axes. (prob what you will end up doing in the future anyways.)

so yeah a mistake of sorts as it should be obvious to your opponent what weapons your guys have but certainly not a huge one by any stretch of the imagination.

My Marauders all have different weapons and I just explain what they are, because I refuse to buy 96 individual great weapons for the crazy price on the website.

for me the easy way to make great weapons for marauders was to use the flails then cut the chains off and glue the top of the axes on that.....super easy!!!

I think I can snap a few today for you, it's quite the pain in the butt to make sure they stay on after but as long as your careful with your models (most of us are) then you shouldn't have any issues
