2500pts Inquistion - upcoming doubles game

So here is what I have crafted for the upcoming doubles game with my mates in a week and a bits time - using the homebrew mission I did (posted in the general 40k forum):

    HQ - 212pts

    Inquisitor Coteaz
Ordo Xenos Inquisitor - psyker, plasma pistol, power armour, Pad/Psy Grenades, 3x Servo Skulls

    Elite - 420pts

    Vindicare Assassin
    Callidus Assassin
    Eversor Assassin

    Troops - 814pts

    5x GK Terminators - Incinerator, 3x Halberds, 2x Swords, 1x Hammer
    5x GK Terminators - Incinerator, 3x Halberds, 2x Swords, 1x Hammer
    11x Ordo Xenos Henchmen - 5x DCAs, 3x Crusaders, 2x Arcos, 1x Mystic
10x Formosa Sector Troopers - Warrior Acolytes (6x Bolters, 2x Stormbolters, 2x Meltas)
10x Formosa Sector Troopers - Warrior Acolytes (6x Bolters, 2x Stormbolters, 2x Meltas)
    9x Coteaz Henchmen - 6x Psykers + 3x Servitors (1x PC, 2x HBs)

    Dedicated Transports - 228pts

Chimera - Multilaser, Heavy Flamer, Search light, Stormbolter, Hunterkiller
Chimera - Multilaser, Heavy Flamer, Search light, Stormbolter, Hunterkiller
Chimera - Multilaser, Heavy Flamer, Search light, Stormbolter, Hunterkiller

    Fast Attack - 436pts

Stormraven Gunship - Twin Lascannon, Typhoon Missile Launcher, Search Light (Terminators)
Stormraven Gunship - Twin Assault Cannon, Twin Multi-Melta (Terminators)

    Heavy Support - 390pts

Redeermer - Twin Assault Cannon, Multi Melta, Psybolt Ammo (Ordo Xenos + her Henchmen)
Dreadnaught - Assault Cannon, Doomfist & Stormbolter, Psybolt Ammo

    TOTAL Inquisition Force - 2500pts

The only thing I was thinking was perhaps bring in a Librarian and Sacrifice the extra Stormraven ??? Or even drop the 5 terminators and put the Eversor in the Stormraven for a laugh - to bomb him up the middle - Thoughts (for fun) ???

I will need to borrow the extra Stormraven (or Libby), Eversor and 5 Termies but I think this looks like it could be good fun.

um you put 3 halberds 2 swords and a hammer on 5 guys 3+2+1=6 what the F*CK are you smocking!!!
P.S. why incinerators they're useless compared to psycannons if you can spare the points. but an everesor in a stormraven would just be FTW you b*stard when it drops on a squad of necrons and eats they're faces.

CJB smocks what he likes and carries it off beautifully. It's the bonnet accessory which does it.

Incinerators are far from useless. In the right place, they're better than Psycannons. If the unit carrying them is likely to be on foot a lot, then Psycannons are the way to go. If not, Incinerators. A very overlooked upgrade item.

CJB - I'd also advise a Librarian, especially at this points level. The amount of support they can give to the army and squad they're with is phenomenal. Take one, add on a Ward Stave, Might of Titan, Sanctuary, Warp Rift, Shrouding and Summoning and you should be good to go. Won't be cheap, but you'll have a model which can do anything, survive most things and if needs be bring units closer to him to support the effort at that side of the board.

This week I am good-naturedly shaking my fist at: Baragash. For being unreasonably reasonable.
    Sex, drugs and pointy ears.
Cheaphammer 40p: 2000 points of Marines as cheap as possible.
It'll be alright on the Knight - a slow refreshing of my original Grey Knight army.
Cordova: In my head you're eight foot tall, always carry an officer's sabre, and speak like Theoden at the battle of Pelennor Fields.

Grey Knights don't go to heaven: they go to hell and regroup.

With all the psyker about that army, why not take a Culexus assassin rather than the Calidus?

If the Librarian replace the (97 pts) ordos xenos Inquisitor as second HQ, you might not need to suppress the second Stormraven to make the points. If you do it you would have a lot of pts to spare, what is your plan to use them? To introduce the Lib, rather than cutting a Stormraven, why not replace a squad of Terminators with an Interceptor squad (70 pts savings before options)? -of course, this is only one of the options, but I like the Interceptors-

Mm, I sort of take the point of view that fewer expletives might make this post more understadable? not even sure what the last sentence means!

drop assasins out of storm raven followed by two ravens carrying geuss what more assasins.

just kiddind but i would take a unit of purifiers over interceptors though i do like termies but you have to few vehicles of the same armoour class and if there dead you've got fifty uber slow foot sloggers that even a weirdboy couldn't miss.

meltas kill redeemer or a single daemonhammer

lascannons or lances fry the ravens

the dread is shot with anything really

and chimeras will die to a krak rocket

In the end due to not having chance to change things, I went with my OP lists.

Performed the worst out of the 4 of us (in the sense of least remaining VPs) but that was mainly due to my aggression - but did cause quite a bit of pain - unfortunately, Thunderwolves managed to chew through 20 of my mates Terminators and get at my squishy stuff

1 Stormraven got taken out mid table and the Terminators got out right next to a 10 man tactical squad - I put the 2 Incinerators in here and they were great when it was there turn ! The Other Stormraven i put the Eversor and Dread in ....

Ther Eversor delivered by a Stormraven is GREAT ! He disembarked and took out 5 Terminators, consolidated, next turn smashed through some ruins and charged ..... Logan Grimnar ! He was then surrounded by a load of Marines and boltered to death

Redeemer got took out early by 1 Krak missile with the Tank Hunter rule..... Grrrr

Vindicare did well, took off a Dread MM, Took out a Powerfist in a Blood Claws pack, Took out a Thunderwolf with 1 wound left and made a Contemptor Dread go Kaboom! But I rolled 1's twice to hit but luckily then rolled a 4+

Callidus continues to be pants in every game I field her in - I am on the brink of dropping her and replacinghe in my log list - fluff and flavour are not worth it for a unit that just underperforms.

Psykers were GREAT for their pts! Passed all tests and they took out quite alot of stuff out - easily 5 times their value.

All in all the list was decent but if the Redeemer goes down or you allow Thunderwolves into your lines (I hate these things), the list will break.

Alas poor Callidus, I knew you well. Such a shame that the only real use for her now is as an (expensive) Orbital Strike target for Karamazov!
