I made some special rules for custom matches and I would like to see what the general impression is. Are they too powerful, not worth it, etc. I might have mixed up a rule or to , as i'm doing this over my lunch break
but I think you all will get the gist of what I'm trying to do. I appreciate your thoughts and comments
Special Rules
The Big Black One (200 points )
In order to ensure that the 1st Plutarch was up to Munitorium standards (and thereby save his own neck), the Planetary Governer called in many, many favors to ensure they succeeded. The finest weapons and trainers were imported to make the small force fight as if it were an army several times it’s size.
All infantry units except independent characters and elite gain + 1 BS/WS and 1D6 Range.
Special Characters
Commissar Joanna Baker (120 Points)

Reprieve
Joanna took many lessons from her mentor at the Schola Progenium. Foremost being that there are times to be merciless and times to have a soft touch. Any leader subject to Summary Execution takes the leadership roll, if successful their platoon can consolidate immediately and with a cry of “For the Emperor! Can counterattack with + 1 Attack. If the leader fails, the platoon consolidates 1D3 away from enemy forces, while the leader ‘heroically’ holds the nearest enemy unit at bay.
Faith through Superior Firepower
Joanna believes firmly that the Emperor helps those who help each other. In any round in which 25% or more of the total army is routed/pinned, she uses her commissarial override to redirect fire missions. 1D3 Str 8 Small Blast can be placed at will and roll scatter die as normal. If any are direct hits, all units that are pinned/routed, consolidate/stand immediately heartened by the ‘Emperor’s’ benevolence.
TechPriest Tokou (95 points)

3 3 3 3 2 5 2 6 3+
Unrequited Love
Tokou has a ‘secret’ burning love for Joanna Baker. As long as he within 6’ of her, he gains Look Out! –ARGH! If she is in danger, he will forget whatever task he is doing, and blindly rush to her side to take the blow regardless of any detrimental effects.
Understanding of the Omnisiah
Tokou’s odd qualities don’t stop with his infatuation with Joanna, he is a tinkerer. His fervent dissambly and reassemblies border on the herectical in his quest to understand machines. This deeper understanding doubles for his personal cybernetics, he is so intune with their machine spirits, that they can help him recover from otherwise fatal blows.
When an attack takes his last wound, Roll 1D6, on results 1-3, Tokou gets up with 1 wound. on Results 4-5, he is removed from play, but not as a casualty. ON a roll of 6, he is removed as normal. If Tokou is in LOS of Joanna, subtract 1 from the die roll.
