    1500 pts fun-list

    Hey there guys,

a few days ago, I couldn't resist and bought the razorwing ... really cool model
And so I played a bit with the codex and came up with little fun list, which is not a normal list, as it is a bit HQ heavy:

    HQ:

Archon with agoniser, blastpistol and shadowfield - 125

    3x Haemy with liquifier - 180 (60 each)

    Elite:

5 Incubi in Raider with FF and shockprow - 185

    Troops:

2x 5 Warriors with blaster in Venom with SC - 250 (125 each)

2x 9 Wyches with HWG in Raider with FF and shockprow - 366 (183 each)

    Heavy:

    2x Ravanger with FF - 230 (115 each)

    Razorwing with FF - 155

    Total: 1491

The archon rides with the incubi as a little deathstar unit for a little extra punch against terminators and such things. One haemy is also attached for FNP from the beginning on.
The other two haemies give the pain token to the wyches for even better tarpitting.
After those squads left the raider, the haemies play mobile liquifier turrets in those raiders
The warriors are straight forward, they do what they do best - dying on some objectives

I totally ditched the fast attack in favor of the razorwing. I hope to get some much needed templates against horde armies with it, as I had some bad experience with coversaves (a venom killing only one (1) ork boy with all 12 shots). And I think putting down some pieplates is always fun
I could drop the prows on the raiders for different missiles, but I don't know if it would be a wise choice...

What do you think of that list?

Of course I wouldn't charge a full terminator squad, with nothing.
Shooting them a bit before the assault helps a lot, even terminators fall to massed fire (the more dice you roll, the more wounds you cause). But for finishing them off the incubi are much better then the wyches (energy weapons with S4!)

I wouldn't even send Incubi after one Terminator. Most terminators you see are either Grey Knight ones or ones with Storm Shields. The Storm Shields ones are a right pain in the butt because it makes your Power Weapons moot, and Grey Knights are just nasty full stop. The best way to deal with Terminators is Venoms because of the pure weight of fire.

The list looks pretty tight. I have no comment to make.

    Necrons
    Dark Eldar
    Death Guard
    Nurgle Daemons
    Traitor Guard

Hmm ... is locking them in CC with wyches an option against termies? After softening them with the venoms of course... The wyches have a invul at least, but won't kill anything.
Apart from venoms, is there another method of getting rid of termies? (quite a few people I normally play with run marines in one or the other form, and often with termies)

Terminators have always been a huge problem for me as a Dark Eldar player, with my main opponent playing Grey Knights a lot. Wyches are a very good option for keeping them out the game, but you won't kill them that way, you just keep them locked in combat for an age.

But that's always better then a paladin squad going rampage me thinks

Next game, I'll try both, venom fire and wyche-lock, hopefully that helps ... oh, and thanks for the input pyro!
