two chariots in the same unit?

When you put a herald in a chariot it loses independent character. What does that mean exactly?
Can a slannish herald in chariot go in a unit of slanish seekers (Fast Attack choice)? What about slannish fiends?

Can I put two Slannish Heralds in a chariot in the same unit? We can take up to 2 heralds as 1 head quarters choice can they count as one unit?

I'm assuming you can put a herald on a seeker in a unit of seekers. Can you put it in a unit of fiends? If you do can it hit and run with the rest of the unit or does it have to buy that upgrade (musk)? Does the whole unit benefit from the grenades the herald brings with her (auara of acquiescence) and if not how does that work?

If it loses IC then it cannot join any units and it cannot be joined by other ICs.

If it has the IC rule it can join any unit, provided that unit doesn't always consist of 1 model (eg a Greater Daemon).
