    Exitus weapons and wounding?

    I have a Vindicare question...

I understand Hellfire... easy enough. Plus it's awesome to me that even shots from his pistol are rending and pinning shots (Sniper rule).

But how do you wound with the other two ammo types?

No strength is indicated... so what do you roll?

Shield Breaker - a wound causes the loss of invul saves... this is assuming that model has more than one wound to give, right?

Then there is the Turbo Penetrator rounds... causing two wounds on non-vehicle models... but still no S value to compare to a targets T value for wound rolls?

I'm sure it's in there somewhere... but I can't find it in the 'dex or FAQ

Standard way for Sniper Rifles: 4+. It's in the rulebook.

So yes, Shield Breaker is great Vs ICs and such which have Inv saves, and if it's against stuff which isn't an IC and has equipment which gives them an Inv save (as in that Terminator with a Chainfist) it's handy.

It'll be alright on the Knight - a slow refreshing of my original Grey Knight army.

Also further clarification on the shielf breaker rule. It only removes Invul saves provided by wargear. There are models with invul saves that cannot be removed.

Good judgement comes from experience, alot of that comes from bad judgement

that is good to know, thanks AoB

Is there a clarification of that rule somewhere in the codex or is it just understood that way?
    <edit>
Nevermind... clearly stated in the profile page

Im sure you figured it out by now But it acts just like a Sniper rifle which wounds on a 4+ , and they have ap of 1 so will go throw all armour(which means no armour saves against it =).) and has a STR3 vs Vehicles and because of that ap1 they add 1 to Damage Chart Against Vehicles.

Turbo Pen is nice for vehicles can almost always pop rhinos and even heavier armored Vehicles and it gives two wounds on a Unit thats not a vehicle. ( Snipers r Str3 against Vehicles +4 D6s with the turbo Pen and if u roll a 6 for rendering rule thats an additional D3, at most rolling at 6s u can do 30Str and worst rolling 1s would be 7str against the vehicles.))

Sheild Breaker Takes the INV save away from war gear like a SS or Iron Halo if they have a Inv save because of skill or SP rules like doges it doesnt take it away.

    Hope I helped

The way Turbo Pen is worded i would argue that you only get 4D6 to pen without the 3 strength from sniper.

You would get the 4d6, plus D3 if you roll a 6 due to Rending... so if you manage to roll all 6's thats... bad for Land Raiders

True, but the average of 4D6 is 14 so its not so easy

With Shield Breaker, it states it removes wargear that gives invun saves; Does that mean it can remove terminator armour, leaving the terminator naked? lol
