How do you guys make your Lords ?

I have seen several guides on the web about making cost efficient Crypteks out of Deathmark heads and so on ... but what about the Royal Court Lords ? what do you guys use for them ?

As for normal lords , well i use the old lord models ( ebay )

    NECRONS from 1/1/12
    W/L/D

I use the Overlord models that come with the Annihilation Barge, as I only have Royal Court Lords when I don't have a generic Overlord.

    Necrons
    Dark Eldar
    Death Guard
    Nurgle Daemons
    Traitor Guard

Yeah you should be able to pick up some of the old lords pretty cheaply now. I think they will look good alongside the more ornate Overlord models - really highlight the difference. Or go for the plastic Barge lord.

I doubt it. They haven't been replaced like Wraiths will be. The original Lord models are still produced and sold by GW.

Why is that Pyro ? ( Im still trying to get my mind wrapped around the more subtle tactics of the Crons - ie. a Noob )

I just bought the Praetorian/Lychguard box and am modeling them into lords.

Just how my list is. Lords are expensive, so I don't have them until the higher point level, at which point I swap a generic Overlord for Trazyn, for the Trazyn/Lychguard deathstar.

Yeah - but that's what I mean. The Wraiths and Spyders are OOP - and they get snapped up pretty quickly on Ebay for High prices. For lords you have old metals, new Resins, and the Plastic Barge bits all flooding Ebay. So it's easier to find a potential deal.

I also use the a-barge overlords as regular lords and I use the immotek model for my overlord.

Deathmark heads on warriors for cryptecks
Lychguard models with appropriate wargear modeled for lords.

I use the Lychguard/Pretorean staffs with various other bits to make the different staves for the harbingers.
