    [Wood Elves][2000][Friendly]

One of my friends is building a welf army and now I want to do one again

    --------------------------------------

Spellweaver, Level 4, Rhymers Harp, Divination Orb = 350

Noble, Alter Kindred, Hail of Doom Arrow, Helm of the Hunt, Light Armour, Shield, Great Weapon, Additional Hand Weapon = 162
Noble, Bow of Loren, Light Armour, Shield, Dragonhelm, Banner Bearer, Luckstone = 144
Noble, Asyendies Bane, Enchanted Shield, Light Armour, Arcane Bodkins, Great Weapon, Additional Hand Weapon, Seed of Rebirth = 135

Glade Guard x 20, Musician, Stamdard Bearer, Banner of the Eternal Flame = 273
    Glade Guard x 10, Musician = 126
    Glade Guard x 10, Musician = 126
    Glade Raiders x 10, Musician = 249
    Dryads x 8 = 96
    Dryads x 8 = 96
    Dryads x 8 = 96

    Way Watchers x 6 = 144

    --------------------------------------

It's very different from my brets, since it relies almost entirely on shooting, with the dryads running inteference. The alter noble goes war machine hunting, spellweaver goes with the big unit of guard, other two nobles go in the other units of guard.

It doesn't look hugely strong, but should be fun to play and I should be able to build it for about £100 new.

You have the main building blocks, however the general word on the street is that anymore than 2 characters are a waste, a Lv4 a BsB (HoDA) seem to be the way to go. With those extra points you can get more shooting or distractions (Eagles!) and just play the MSU style even better.

Necro I think, but not much point making a new thread considering how dead this place normally is

Had some thoughts recently, and got hold of some more models so made a new list -

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Spellweaver, Level 4, Life w/ Dispel Scroll, The Rhymers Harp = 350

Noble BSB w/ Hail of Doom Arrow, Asyendi's Bane, Enchanted Shield, Light Armour = 142

Glade Guard x 20 w/ Musician, Banner Bearer, Banner of flames = 268
    Glade Guard x 10 w/ Musician = 126
    Glade Guard x 10 w/ Musician = 126

    Glade Riders x 10 w/ Musician, Standard Bearer = 267

    Dryads x 10 = 120
    Dryads x 10 = 120
    Dryads x 9 = 108

    Treekin x 3 = 195

    Waywatchers x 5 w/ Shadow Sentinel = 128

    Great Eagle = 50

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lot more units this time, lot less in the heroes.

Debating whether the level 4 is worth it or not. Might go with a Level 2 and put in an Alter Lord with the Bow of Loren and Arcane Bodkins. Not sure on the Level 4's lore either, both Beats and Life could be useful here.
