Bosspole and pinning tests

I see that in the ork codex (p. 92) under the bosspole section, "Each time a unit with a Bosspole fails a Morale test you may choose to inflict a wound on that unit...."

And I know that Fearless units do not have to take pinning tests (Core Rules, p. 75).

So lets assume due to attrition I have a unit that is down to say 9 boyz and am no longer fearless and have a bosspole in the unit. I take a wound that normally causes a pinning test. I fail the test. Can I use the bosspole to try for a re-roll on the pinning test or does this just work against morale rolls only and not pinning tests?

No I don't believe so, there are 3 types of tests based on leadership. Morale which the bosspole covers. Then there is pinning. Finally is a standard leadership test like bone swords or mind shackle scarabs.

You are correct, you may not use a boss pole to re-roll pining tests, as stated above there are 3 tests that are based on your leadership, and moral is the only one you can use the bosspole on...
