oh yes a Supreme Challenge!

I need to paint a 1500pt army for Saturday to take to a tournament.

HQ1: Primirus - 70*

FA2: Vendetta - 130
FA3: Vendetta - 130
FA1: Devil dog + smoke + heavy flamer - 125

TR1: Veterans + 3 melta + chimera + dozer blade + demolitions - 195
TR2: platoon command 4 grenade launchers, chimera - 105
Platoon 1- 50
Platoon 2 - 50

HS: Leman Russ * 2 - 300
HS: Leman Russ Demolisher +lascannon - 180
HS: Leman Russ Exterminator +lascannon - 165

13 kill points, 9 vehicles. 4 troop

Now I think ALL the infantry is painted (bar the demolitions guy) but only 1 chimera is painted leaving me 8 vehicles to paint and I still need to build one of the vendettas...

So expect a photo tomorrow but gonna need a whole lot of support to get this much done with so little time. (will only have 2 days off work to dedicate to it, but one is tomorrow)

Ok have painted FOUR vehicles today - though the leman russ's need company markings. Will grab the camera and take some photos.

yeah it is all a bit Crazy Bara but have now seen 2/3 of the LoTR extended versions today...

so a piccy update: Company Command Chimera:



Veteran Squad Chimera:



note: both chimeras have hull mounted chemical burners rather then your standard heavy flamer. (no dif in game terms.) Also the inclusion of massive searchlights is a reminder for me to use them in games! especially dawn of war or with sneaky necrons.

Leman Russ Squadron:



note the Leman Russ Squadron now have company markings on them and look a lot better, and also painted up a Leman Russ Demolisher as well after posting and so FIVE vehicles in one day *wipes sweat from head.*

Oh and here is the pic of one of my vendettas:



That little pot is a forgeworld vendetta kit soaking in soapy water and as yet unassembled, it will be a major piece of work to rescue this crashed birdy.

right tommorow, try and get the execiutioner and hellhound done...

feedback fine as normal, note they are ment to be in an urban scheme to match my guardsmen so no muddy tracks for them, and are only just going to chaos so no random mutations or possession or some such.

so right EB, got to go back after the tournament and give them some love. (did hit a major snag as in all my main paints the greys, whites, etc where all stodgy and part dryed making them very thick.) Luckily the russ's look a lot better with squadron markings on.

but unfortunately speed is the call of the week, not perfection *shakes fists at sky* Executioner is done as is demolisher (will grab a pic of those) and updated leman russ pics. Lets see how far I get on Mr Hellhound tonight with some new paint pots from work.

I think if you got an airbrush it could go even faster! Gotta recommend it for big areas like, say, half a dozen vehicles. Those Chimeras look sweet!
