Cryptek ''lightning field''

Hey, just planning on converting some warriors w/ lychguard/deathmark bits into crypteks. Just one question on the lightning field option. Pg. 85 in the dex says, ''when an enemy unit successfully moves into assault w/ the cryptek... the assaulting unit immediately suffers D6 str8 AP5 hits. I was wondering if this only works if the cryptek (and/or his squad) is assaulted and not if the cryptek assaults an enemy unit. I know the codex specifically states ''the assaulting unit...'' but just in case, i was wondering what you guys thought. I didn't check the FAQ 'cause honestly it's late and I'm too tired to.

If it specifies then you follow the letter of the law unless faq'd

As the rule says, it only works when being assaulted.
