A quick question on dedicated transports (Ghost Arks)

As far as I can see its perfectly viable to take 20 warriors + the specials and such, and dedicate a Ghost Ark to them albeit it only having a holding capacity for 10 warriors.
Is that correct ?

That is correct.

I get the impression that's exactly what the Ghost Ark was designed for. Yes it's a dedicated transport, but it feels designed as merely a supporter for your Warriors.

same a space marines and Razorbacks , you can get one with a 10 man squad and just not get in it( SMs can of couse combat squad ,Necrons alas can not )

I have seen some of the youtube battle reps and I must say I like the Ark - it really supports quite good and with with a ress orb and a 20 warrior blob that really is one durable block of Necrons.
