You know what? Not surprised. GKs are only Marines but more expensive. They're not invincible, not matter what the Internet says. Know thy list, know thy army, triumph against the odds. He was probably arrogant and had it coming.
This week I am good-naturedly shaking my fist at: Baragash. For being unreasonably reasonable.
Sex, drugs and pointy ears.
Cheaphammer 40p: 2000 points of Marines as cheap as possible.
It'll be alright on the Knight - a slow refreshing of my original Grey Knight army.
Cordova: In my head you're eight foot tall, always carry an officer's sabre, and speak like Theoden at the battle of Pelennor Fields.
Grey Knights don't go to heaven: they go to hell and regroup.

no he really was a good sport and it was a great game, kill points 7 turns 13 to nine. that dreadknight was a beast.
took out all the mech within 2 turns except dreadknight then kept pinning his units with my sniper drones. ap3 was my friend along with target locks and marker lights.

In the last tourney I played, one of my matches was against GK, with assault Termies, dreadnights. Rather worrying, as my army is BA, and pretty much exclusively jump-pack troops with 2 psykers (Meph and a libby) as HQs - so Init1.
I put just about my entire army into reserve, fortunately most of them turned up on T2 - so I combat squadded, and landed 6 units in a hexagon pattern around one of his termie units at the far end of one of his armies. Lots of dakka later, the remaining termie legs it toward the exit, never to reappear. The rest of his army moves sideways and i am able to take it piecemeal, although its hard on some of my units as they dont get armour saves.
My first fight against GK with my BAs, and a very satisfactory result against a codex that seemed designed to screw BA every which way. The high point was Meph and the libby taking out one of the Dreadnights in a single combat turn
Unfortunately I also came up against two Black Templar termie armies in 2 other matches, both very competently played. I take back everything I ever said about BTs - got busted both times.
A master of misinformation and delusional fantasies

i was pretty pleased, it was the first time i didnt use a hammerhead tank, it was definitly a change and hard. had to figure out another way to hide my suits ha ha.
normally run 2 hammers and use it as mobile cover for my crisis suits. this time i took 6broad sides,3 sniper teams, 2 crisis suit teams and a unit of stealths with 3 marker drones. spread out the snipers just of six inches from back of the board, but crisis suits in middle behind buildings to hide, and broadsides on each tabl end but far enough in to deal with outflankers. it worked well

good job! your cadre must've been an impressive set up, honestly the only time i've played against GK i destroyed the opponent, on turn 4 no GK's on the board!!
its all about mobility and knowing your opponent.
another great win for the tau
