Hello, all. Long time 40k lore/universe/canon fan, new to the tabletop game. Thought I'd say hi, although I reckon I'll be over in the Sisters of Battle section as I slog my way through the first forays into the first (and likely only) army. Got a partner and some friends that freak the tabletop game though.

Not unfamiliar with the setting, as I've read tons of the fiction and I'm a huge fan of the Relic games (if you play Space Marine on XBox Live, chances are I've meltagunned you in the face). Also a big fan of the Fantasy Flight Games series of RPG books.

So... in short, and summation... yo.

give it 24 hrs tigress , alot of our guys areprob still in bed ( its 0707 in blighty ) , you posted originally at 0106 and we brits need our beuty sleep

as for which one , well rhino carries ten and has a storm bolter , immolater carries 6 but has twin heavy flammers for burning the ungodly otherwise thyre the same ( AV )
So do you need transport more than fire Power ( remember a rhino has 2 fire points so those inside can still fire out ).

Thanks everybody. I also have the Assault on Black Reach box set, so at some point I may decide to get more green and stabby or less squishy and try those out for size. Although my other half is eyeing my terminators and Dreadnaught.... Grrrrrr.

Hi Tigress and welcome to the forums. It's always good to have someone to play the game with, so I'd say let him have the Marines from the box. Worse comes to worse and he doesn't like it, you have a bunch of models assembled and maybe painted for you already.
