    Mono-Nurgle looking for feedback

Hello, im looking to get advice on mono-nurgle 40k, and have a few questions. Im aware that this army won't win very many games, but Im in it for the overall IDEA of Nurgle and having fun. I'm probably gonna be playing a lot of Chaos, Tyranid, and Necron. With that in mind any idea's, suggestions or w/e is cool.

What is the overall strategy as far as not getting stuck in the middle of the board to get shot at?
How effective is Aura of Decay, and Epidemius Tally count?
How effective is Nurgle agaisnt Swarms of tyranids/orks? or heavy armor of Chaos and Space Marines? or Heavy Support such as Tanks?

    Hi!

Plague Bearers. Plague Bearers. Plague Bearers. Daemon Prince with Mark of Nurgle (the Heavy Support one) and wings for mobility. Epidemus too, naturally.

However, what you might want to think about is creating a more rounded Daemon force using all the entries, but "nurgling them up" a bit. Paint them greenish brown, add goo, gloop and gore and so on. Pure Nurgle is only really working once they've killed a certain number of models, and they find that quite hard to do, but doing that you can create a more viable army that'll at least give as good as it gets instead of just sitting there being tough.

Note: I'm not a Daemon player, I tend to hunt them instead. But a good friend of mine plays Daemons, and he likes his Nurgle quite a bit (understatement methinks ). Look up threads/army lists by PyroSikth, he's your man for Nurgle stuffs.

Cool thank you, i will look at his army list/strats for sure! I made a 1750 list, because i read somewhere that, 1750 is an effective point cap for nurgle before Tanks and other larger units become a hassle. Also im pretty set on a mono-nurgle list but i am hoping to create maybe a giant army of all 4 flavors...Tzeentch sounds fun as far as splicing something in right now though.

Aura of Decay isn't too effective, but I usually take it just in case I find myself bogged down by a horde of Orks or Hormagaunts.
Epidemius' Tally is great when it gets going, but it takes a hell of a lot to get going.
Against Orks and Tyranids, Nurgle Daemons do pretty well. We don't generally have much punch, but the vast majority of our punch comes from killing infantry, so the more infantry there is to kill, the better we become.
Fighting more mechanised lists is a bit tougher. Any army with more than 3 tanks will be an issue (this includes Rhinos), so you should squeeze in as many Soulgrinders or Daemon Princes as you can.

If the above post comes off with a negative tone, you're reading it wrong.
