I found a place. It has DREADFLEET. It has BLOODBOWL. It has PAINT. It has ASSAULT ON BLACK REACH. It has the HORUS HERESY BOARD GAME. It has EVERYTHING!!! It's in Pavilion.

[Just so stoked that I had to share. We don't get to see GW game products in Malaysia very often, and I found a whole section of it!!!]

Oh wow yes i remember asking this, it was quite a while ago so I nearly forgot haha, about 2 years?
That's awesome. Do they have Inquisitor? Is it a Gamesworkshop or another store, just wondering because I never saw any warhammer stuff on sale there even though I have been to the Pavillion and Mid-Valley (You're talking about Mid-Valley Megamall right?) several times.. come to think of it I have never seen any on sale anywhere in Malaysia before - except for the occasional Black Library novel in the book shops. Do you know which floor of the Pavillion it is on?
Problem is I'm now back in the UK again but I am travelling to Malaysia in 3 months and I will remain a regular visitor there, though I am hoping to move there permanently in the next 6 years or so, once my engineering degree is complete and I've got a little work experience here.

It's at Times Bookstore on the 3rd floor (I think, not sure which floor), but it has absolutely everything... except for Inquisitor. It has enough for you to get started and I really want that AoBR set when I get the money to buy it >_>

You can get Horus Heresy stuff at Kinokuniya's KLCC though.

Cool. What is the Horus Heresy Boardgame? I have been a bit out of the hobby since I left for Malaysia, is it new?

The Horus Heresy boardgame is basically you recreating the events of the siege of Terra, etc. I think Arch has a set so he can tell you more about it.

it's a pretty terrible game imo, that got played a few times and shoved in my closet.

Basically a little grid or hex board where you move units around and roll dice to fight against the other little units. It has some interesting things, and the cards and such are fun. But if you want a good, GW/WH game...then get bloodbowl or dreadfleet, or save the money for actual 40k.

The game might have been more enjoyable if my buddy and I had sat down and really played through...we played it here and there (like all GW based stuff it's a massive learning curve)...and just never got interest from friends to play again.
