I accidentally bought some devastators. I always liked their massive guns. So that's next, starting with a heavy plasma, because it looks 'ard.

At the current rate I should have them finished by the end of April. Maybe I should paint some go-faster stripes on my face.

Sounds like it's your fault for not using one of the newer plastic kits

Assembling Malifaux is great fun, have you ever put Showgirls, Coryphee, Scales of Justice or Death Marshals together?

as far as new plastics is concerned with the WM...I had a box full of untouched blisters from before they had any plastics...hence why I'm using this challenge to build

Since I have A LOT of models that are at some level of "in progress", I added a "Models finished" category for myself to include partially finished ones actually getting done ^_^ Good luck everyone!

This looks like a lot of fun and a great way to track what I have done. Since a lot of the model I have been painting/assembling lately have been old models that I have been re-painting/assembling I figured I should divide them up a little.

So as of the start of this year

    Models bought: 0
    Models assembled: 1 (Librarian)
Models reassembled: 3 (Dreadnought, Chaplain, Chaplain Dreadnought)
Models painted: 6 (Librarian, 2 Techmarines, 3 Marines)
Models repainted: 16 (Dreadnought, Chaplain, Chaplain Deadnought, Captain, 5 Terminators, 7 Marines)

I might be cheating on the dreadnought as I think I might have built him last year, but I know that I built his one Auto-cannon arm this year so I'm counting him.

Terrain bought: ? (I just bought some scratch building supplies. Filler and duct tape. I haven't yet bought "proper" terrain kits.)
Models finishedish: 14 (12 hormagaunts, 1 ripper base, 1 lictor)
    Terrain finishedish: 0

I'd prefer to count assembled and painted together. And the ish is for the fact I don't truly count them finished until they get there clear coat and basing details, and I don't have my spray with me yet.

Models bought: 70 (Island of Blood).
    Models assembled: 43
    Models painted: 0.5

I bought island of blood just to get all the stuff to play... I was looking at £15-20 for the a5 rulebook alone... then dice and tape on top... and that I'm interetse din both the armies as potential 2nd/3rd armies... I was like 'fuck it, why not". Lizardmen are still my primary, however.

    Total thus far

Little update from me. Gonna keep it all in the same post, around the first of the month (ish), then it'll be an easy to follow progression over the year.

    My ratio has improved marginally.
Trying not to buy more for the time being, plenty to paint.

    I'm game!

Models Bought: 10 (4 Grot Tekkies, 6 Ork Warbikers)
    Models Painted: 0
    Models Assembled: 0

Technically 4 of the models are Grot Tekkies which require no assembly, but I won't count them as Assembled until they're either Based individually or glued to the Trukks.

Haha! Let's be honest, the chances of me having painted more than I've bought by the end of the year are just about zero. If I buy a box, I'm screwed!
