Little progress from me. Been too busy getting ready for weddings and Ride to the Wall in my two weeks off. The next batch of rag doll soldiers is ready to go though. Could get some done before I'm back at work on Friday.

Glad this thread is still alive. I've been updating my original post from time to time, and doing pretty well. I've pretty much stopped buying models because I have so much not painted. My list of stuff that I still want and don't own, well, that makes it easy for people, who ask me what I want for my birthday/Christmas.

So far this year I've bought 4 models and finished 45. I bought more than that, but I'm not counting the models I bought and then later sold off, because as it turned out I wasn't interested in playing Warmachine.

My project for the rest of this year is painting about 875 points of Space Wolves for the current quarterly hobby change. Right now I'm working on terminators.

Well exactly as predicted finished the monolith, 2 venomthropes and the flyrant (with 3 magnetised sets of arms.)

Currently on the table I just finished building 4 hormagaunts to complete that box. Will be starting on building and magnetising a pair of Carnifexes tomorrow too.

Well, dang, I fell off the wagon in the early part of the year, don't even have a clue at this point how much got painted. Might have to do some inventory when I make it back to the hacienda.

I've got 4 Kickstarters (Mars Attacks {exclusive models only so just a handful}, Dreadball Xtreme {Wave 1}, Deadzone {Wave 2} and Darklands {I-forget-which-Kickstarter-and-Wave but maybe 3?} worth of models to add to the pile of "woah Bara, you are a total failure aren't you?" list but so many things to count.....

Next year I have Deadzone {Wave 3}, Kings of War II, Dungeon Saga, Kingdom Death: Monster and Darklands {Wave 4-7} coming so already an uphill challenge!. Kings of War is an Ogre army so not too many models and Deadzone should just be a few plastic sprues, but the other 3 are going to kill me......

Only four hours to go. Is anyone else frantically painting the last few to keep this year's ratios up?

Terrain elements painted: 7 (gaming board, Snowy Forest,3 Bunkers, 2 Silos)

Completed both Carnifexes and my last 4 hormagaunts. I am calling time on 2014 rather pleased with myself. Thats not a bad effort.

Buying to completed sits at 87% thats not bad. Now to beat it in 2015

Looks like people did pretty well with their bought versus assembled ratios on here. I imagine the thread helped. I know it did for me.

I purchased 19 models but assembled 52 in 2014. Of the ones I assembled the breakdown is:

    Space Wolves: 24
    Orks: 20
    Necrons: 7
    CSM: 1

Oh yeah, it helped. Even in my doldrums, just having a record that I had made progress, and was still ahead of the game, was a bit of a relief, and stopped me pretty much jacking it in.

Yes, assembled and painted. While I did pretty well, I think, with the inventory thing I didn't end up meeting my quarterly painting challenge. One of my gaming friends came up with a suitable "punishment" which was cunning from an assimilation standpoint and given that I've grown to have a healthy fear and loathing of the evil blueskins.

The punishment is I have to display a pro-Tau propaganda poster he picked out for me, and I'd have to leave it up until I complete 1000 points of Space Wolves. When I said, "Hey that poster is kind of cool," he said, "Oh really?" and further decreed that I additionally had to paint up one legal squad of Tau.
