    SoS's Snakebite Ork Swarm

Okay, I did attempt to make this once before, but the forum wipe ate it.
A while back, I paint stripped my army almost entirely, save for my Trukk and Deff Dread, because I decided I hated my painting style and it wasn't good.
After moping for a bit, I got back on the horse and tried again.
    I feel I improved.
However, I noticed that my new style that emerged looked more natural and feral in some ways. It used lots of neutral tones, leathers and cloths.
As a result, I decided to do a Snakebite Ork army.
This is where I plan to put progress images on my slow but steady Snakebite force.

So, first post... Time for a CyBoar.
These are going to be proxies for Nob Bikers.
First of five, no rider yet.

It must be my bleary eyes, because I read this as "Tim the Cyboar" at first.

I like, looks very ... quirky, but very Orky, which is what counts. Nicely executed too.

The jokes on Facebook were Iron Ham and Cyberham.
Yeah, Cyboars are quirky as all hell - it's a shame they haven't been aknowledged by GW since 2nd ed.
    They aren't grim-dark enough, I guess.
    But they're fucking hillarious.

I mentioned to you elsewhere already, but I love the look of the build and the paint overall.
As regards the points on your brushes going, have you tried cleaning them with warm water and soap?

Nice looking model. I like the idea of "cyber-boars" as proxies for nob bikers.

Love cyboars and it makes me happy to see them being built by someone (and so well too). Can't wait to see this unit when it's all done.

Update! I have a mob of 11 boyz for my Snakebites.
Now, we all know that Snakebites shun technology.
    Well, these ones shun clothes.

Just finished working on this here Grot Tank.
Now, this isn't ENTIRELY Snakebitey seeing as they require a Big Mek to be used.
The way I'm going with it is inspired by the fact that according to the newest Ork codex, Snakebites don't REFUSE to use technology - they just tend to leave the technological things, such as Mek Gunz, to the Grots - So their armoured division would ALSO be under control of the Grots, lead by a Big Mek that is used to making Cyboars.
