Argal will allow Skamos to lead the directives. Making sure the trained guards man the areas with gaps.

Argal finds himself a nice high spot as unclimbable as possible with good views of the surrounding area. From their he surveys the work, encouraging the peasants and preparing himself for the coming battle.

If theres any chance of spotting our compatriots from my high point (or them being drawn in by us setting fire to half the forest to clear it...drakon) then get them in here to help out. I'm sure a formless firemage and claymore wielding lunatic would be handy right about now.

ooc: sorry I've been super busy and away. For those of you who know my real name check out the uk ITC rankings to see why.....I might just be the #1 player in the country right now.

Apologies for the long delay gents - the missus has been in hospital for 9 days so between that and getting ready for moving places and new work, had my hands full. Progress should be normalised from now. Apologies again!

Relax man - I'm taking my time just writing the new PotG test run and you don't see me apologizing

It's a basic rule here that real life takes precedence.

Staring out at the undead horde, Skamos grows very silent for a long moment. Then, flipping open the spellbook, he points at the nearest zombie, and casts the spell near and dear to every D&D player’s heart: “Magic Missile!”

Akrit seemed to calm down a bit but before he could speak the mage was off again "well sorry lads, I appreciate you hearing me out but right now my own code of honor demands I make all haste" Akrit easily caught up to the mage and kept pace with him, his sword drawn and his guard raised, it would be embarrassing if the undead got the drop on him.

    "My Lord! We're surrounded!!"
"Excellent! Now we can attack in any direction"

Argal clutches his holy symbol of the paladins, whispering what he hopes sounds like a convincing prayer just loud enough for the youngsters nearby to hear. Then wearing his best 'brave hero' face (and hoping nobody has noticed how much his knees are shaking) he draws back his bow, picking out a particularly disturbing looking zombie creature and looses. Being sure to fire the first shot (Argal shot first, not Han)

“Archers, light fire arrows and shoot the center mass!” Skamos raises his voice as he readies a fireball to fire at the great wave on the left. He yells to Argal, “Can you see anyone who looks like they’re directing these shamblers?”

OOC: shoot the zombies not in the head...great advice...../sarcasm

IC: Argal scours the crowd looking for anyone who appears to not be a zombie. Whilst also yelling to the guards to let in the red mage and the claymore wielding barbarian when they get close enough.

Akrit followed Drakons plan, felling trees or finding suitably large trunks etc to caber toss at the bigger packs of zombies.

    "My Lord! We're surrounded!!"
"Excellent! Now we can attack in any direction"

Not even the Gods could see how wide Drakon's smile was.

It's mostly because he was invisible.

    "I have a plan."

His companion will start cutting down trees. I will use my magic to light them up as he caber tosses them into the horde.

Seeing the battle develop before him, Drakon gives an invisible shrug before heading for the center, trusting that his companion will follow. Once there begin caber tossing again, unless there's something significantly different here.

Staring at the lack of any significant damage, Skamos narrows his eyes. Thinking to his... patron? "I hope you didn't send me here to die." With that, he spreads his arms wide and cries as loud as he can, "THUNDER. THUNDER. THUNDER. THUNDERWAAAVE. HOOOOOooooo."

    Cast Thunder Wave.

Basically follow Drakon and set up some more logs, this seems to be slowing at least some of them down Though if I see the big ogre things etc aim at those, also keep checking around to make sure nothing sneaks up on us, wouldn't make for a good story if Drakon was killed while I had my back turned

Drakon cursed sourly, as the walls came down. Rushing to the now open flank, he tries to throw fireball after fireball at the rising zombie giants. Corpses are flammable, after all. If he times it right, he could get it to sprawl over the hole, plugging it.

Akrit fought his way to the giants, if this is where he would meet his end let it be at the hands of a worthy foe!

-Attack the giant zombies with my claymore
-It's what any sensible person would do

Edit: if the ramp is still being used go stand on it and make sure nothing else gets in, I shall be a living shield against the coming storm of death!
