"Oh..." Rin'vec quickly notched another arrow and took aim at the creature's one huge eye. "That'll work."

-Blind the beast! Not that it didn't seem to be doing alright without a head or anything. Still, if it's going to grow a giant eye I might as well try to shoot it out.

Torbac wanted to insult her, but opted to just to leave the coin and walk away before he had to be escorted out for questioning the goat like nature of the womans heritage. He went to the guild bar to calm down and ask if there were some smaller jobs for someone to do solo perhaps?

    -Buy the healing spell scroll
    -4000n
-Go to guild hall and look for jobs not on the board (check with the bar staff and anyone in the bar area)

Arch, stupid question for the day:

The difference between adamantine and fey steel is just a question of weight and more slots on the FS? Or is FS more malleable/able to do more intricate things/stronger/something else?

Also, change of plan - Kash will aim to rank up in Mechanical; guns are his interest, not helms and swords - wasn't thinking that through properly.

    -Time to gamble
-Buy 5 pieces of Fey Steel (26,000)
-Buy 2 pieces of Treant (2,000)
-Try to construct another hunting rifle from the above, again, attempting to carve the 4 elements onto the stock and barrel sides.
-Take as long as needed to prep
-If he fails enough to screw up the materials...a single tear runs down his cheek as he looks over the mess
-Either way, afterwards try to research and design a 6 barreled pepperbox. Aiming for short range over just a point-blank bullet-storm.
-Also, try and research and design a projectile that could carry the heavy ink from the sac and splatter upon impact, in theory over the target's eye(s). If this is just a plain no-go, then he will endeavour to design something that will shatter upon impact when thrown.
-No worries if this takes multiple updates, just work through as he can.

fey steel is essentially just very magical steel. It takes and reacts to infusion well, and generally is on the 'magic armor' side of things. Physically it is essentially the same properties of steel, just slightly harder to work with.

Adamantine is a heavy and incredibly durable material. It is the 'indestructible' armor for withstanding physical blows and such. It is very hard to work with.

    Rin'Vec: Aimed, Called Shot: 61/65**
    Boreale: Aimed, Called Wait: 1/120***
    Drunos:
    -Light: 70/50

The arrow looses, careening into the bleary, blood shot eye. The thing roars in pain and anger as the shaft lodges in its eye. The greatsword comes across the ruins low, crashing through rubble as much as slicing through the air. Boreale is not able to dudge the cascade of rubble, but with the help of his armor he shrugs it off. Drunos simply steps away to appear elsewhere. Kara is buried under a wall as it collapses around her and her menagerie, she feels the heavy bruising in her ribs and scrapes on knees and elbows. rinvec is knocked to the ground as shattering stone collides with her.

    Daylight: 73/45

As the boar charges, the hounds lower their heads, baring teeth and growling. Their hackles bristle and the chorus of guttural beast anger surrounds you. As you call upon the power of Daylight, you feel the magic fail, fatigue flowing over you.

    Leadership: 71/30

The boar closes, and you feel the hounds not quite responding to where you want them to be. You ready yourself, holding your spell to the last moment.

    Speed: 53/45
    Ensorcel: 11/110*

You feel the control over the boar's body, but the sudden change throws it off balance to crash into the ground in a rampant tumble just 10' away. You are unable to get away, and the body crashes into you and sends you to the ground. The hounds rush in to start tearing at the downed boar. You do not feel like they are 'obeying' you at all now, and your hold on the boar is slipping, as you struggle to get up under the weight of armor and boar body.

The bartender suggests that the best ways to make money or do jobs around the guild or for other guilds are to seek out various resources, craft them into something and then find buyers (essentially a make up your own quest situation, where you can then make/sell unique merch),as any substantial bounty will be on the board.

Drunos is annoyed at his spellcasting and decides to go for a more conventional technique. Spear ready, gripped in two hands.. he charges.

Realising that her hold is slipping on the beast, and that the dogs are not anywhere near as state of listening to her, Shahira decides that she just needs to survive this encounter. She makes a mental note to herself that she needs something smaller and more manuerverable for these sorts of situations.

Calling on her strength, she reaches for her blade staff, and attempts to drive it awkwardly through the beasts body from below it.

Although feeling fatigue, she knows that her life is now all about finding control. Determined to do so, she attempts to reach out to the very soul of the hounds.

-Attempt to push the boat upwards a little bit off of myself, while trying to drive the blade staff through its body from beneath it - hoping to kill it with this. Failing that just get out from under the damn thing and back on my feet.

-Cast 2. Altered Visage: Uses illusion to alter appearance of the caster or another. The illusory costume moves with the caster as if it were a body suit. The appearance is completely up to the caster and is limited only by imagination. Cost: Spell Components x1.
-- Casting on the boar to make it appear like a fire breathing dragon to scare off the hounds.

Kash stood back looking long and hard at his work.

'Hadrin be pleased. Thank you for guiding this smith's hand,' a murmur, barely more than a whisper escaping his lips.

    And now, for stage 2.

    - try to research and design a 6 barreled pepperbox. Aiming for short range over just a point-blank bullet-storm.

Rin'vec recovered and moved away from the beast, lest she be hit by more debris. Once she reached a relatively good position she took aim again. It was time to see if the beast needed air.

-Spell missile:Frost on an arrow, trigger on impact. 3x components.
    -Aim for the throat!
    -Fire!

OOC: Oh I forgot to post, kind of waiting for @Psychedelic Lictor to finish doing stuff so we can maybe team up again? In the mean time buy 20 spell components.

@General 40 happy to sir - I am sorely tempted to take the Mage's contract...it would be extremely advantageous to be in their good graces for spell learning, but then maybe some extra cash would be useful to prep beforehand and go wander bot? If @LneWlf is game, happy to rock and roll too.

Going on how dangerous the class b quest for the others turned out to be, I feel Wanderbot might be the best idea? Unless Lonewolf is coming with us, if he is up for it I'd be happy to spend 4k on like 8 mercenaries to come with us lol, get ourselves a good mix of healing, defense and straight up damage dealers... theoretically we might be able to deal with it quite well with sheer numbers

If I survive my current encounter, then I'm down for Wanderbot.

I doubt we are anywhere near ready for the Mage's contract, even if we pooled and bought help.
