Humble Book Bundle: Tales from the Worlds of Warhammer

Latest Humble Book Bundle is full of Warhammer and Warhammer 40k books. I was impressed with how many you can get for 15 bucks... even the 1 dollar option is pretty rad.

Agree for the most part, Graham McNeill isn't so bad either. Though only one of these books is by him...

So a friend of mine on a discord server wanted to get in to the books, specifically e books and asked me about this, would it be worth it for him to get any? He's totally new to the lore etc so I guess that's something to keep in mind, I already gave him Drakon's advice (because everyone knows Dan Abnett is our lord).

    "My Lord! We're surrounded!!"
"Excellent! Now we can attack in any direction"

    DrakonTheNightLord: This fucking post... priceless
GrrHero: General 40 and Draken are reason enough to play this game. You guys are hilarious.

    McNeil wrote the Ultramarine books?

If so, I'd say switch him and Forum Story, but both below Abnett not trying. The Goddamn Bat Man is too good a character not to move that all up.

    Otherwise, elf cats indeed.

I'll say this about the humble bundle deal though... that's a lot of desk accessories.

I got a Space Marines omnibus or whatever from a second-hand bookstore, was so livid at the bad writing I just stopped reading. I now use it as a really great block to elevate my PC monitor.

These books can also be paperweights, footstools, ancient Chinese pillows (movie prop), bricks, catapult ammunition....
