Plasticard warhound --Update 9-29-8-- No pics this time

Ok, Ive got a pic of the warhound's head.

Yeah its a "little" blurry.

If I work non stop tomorrow I might have a foot. With toes attached.

If anyone was wondering all the foot parts, of a single foot, can be cut from a 6X11 sheet of plasticard.

Here's a tip for anyone who's gonna scratch build anything from pepakura. USE A METAL STRAIGHT EDGE!! I cannot stress this enough. Use it for the first few passes of your knife over the cutting line. It will save you allot of time that would be wasted on trimming.

Yes its from a yahoo group which you do need to join which takes 5 minutes and wait overnight to get approved.

Well Now that I know that my college has a machine that cuts with a friggin laser, I might make a better warhound down the road. Or use the college's 3d printer! Since I am doing some updating of the pepakura (folding and taping paper(or similar medium) to make a shape) design. (Which you shouldn't wait for since it'll take at least Christmas to really get into with work and school.)

I've started foot assembly and should have one foot done soon. I still need to fill in all the gaps though. This is where the gs pays off as a filler for small areas.

Are you gonna use just plasticard and nothing but?

Cause plastic tubes they sell at hobby stores could probably make things easier for you.

If you can't find them anywhere near you, go online, find yourself one of those sites that sells model trains and things like that and you can get them very cheap.

well for the round parts i.e. knees, I'm gonna use either pvc or plasticard tubes. Im gettin my plasticard from a mom & pop hobby store by where I work.
