Ultramarines, Imperial Fists, Salamanders or Blood Ravens...

I have decided to paint my army out of the four in the title. However, I can't decide what one I like better, or what's easier to paint, so id thought i'd get some advice from the expert painters here a Wh40K forums.

Why should I paint the Scheme? Thanks in advance =D

I love the blood ravens
just for there color scheme

I think its nce to go for quite a unique chapter:

- Ultramarines are extremely common and GW's favourite
- There are quite a few salamanders armies around atm

That leaves imperial fists and blood ravens. I would go for blood ravens. They are less common and have a really nice colour scheme imo

Yeh, Ultramarines are everywhere. Imperial fists are a bit bright IMO, and Salamanders are common. That leaves Blood Ravens, and their sexy scheme

i regret an ultramarine army i started years ago but i have so many i cant be arsed to strip them all and repaint them all

I would only ever go with Imperial Fists, if I could manage to make the yellow a LOT darker. unfortunately, that's about as hard as making a primary colour out of gold paint, seen as it goes this crappy brown colour if you put anything in it...

Blood ravens are good, make sure you do them right

I actually regret going Ultras, i Considered a bunch Including Blood Ravens. Then I went Smurfs because i wussed out and wanted lots of pictures of people to copy me being a newbie and all. I really wanna change to raven guard or Iron hands now.

I Whole Heartedly Support The Blood Ravens Choice as i have yet to meet somebody who has them.

I agree with the Blood Ravens ideas, you don't see them too often and they do have good colors for painting.

-a lot of infantry
-not a lot of tanks (if you really want vehicles, go drop pods)
-a copy of dawn of war®
-trust in psykers
-to have killed your (very irritating) neighbours for heresy. (there's something suspicious about that perfectly trimmed hedge........)
